SCI Fidelity Records and LiveCheese.com are excited to announce the availability of three special live collections!
To celebrate the upcoming Winter Carnival shows at First Bank Center in Broomfield, we’ve put together an exciting new compilation, “Frozen Cheese”, which contains about 90 minutes of completely unreleased material from our archives.
Included in this collection, the historic, first-ever-SCI, “Birdland” featuring Jerry Douglas on dobro, a spectacular version of “The Chicken” with George Porter Jr and Art Neville from the Meters, as well as a spectacular first-set ending combo “Emma’s Dream/Orion’s Belt/Under African Skies/Restless Wind” from the “Blizzard of the Century Incident” in Vail, Colorado in 2003.
“Cheese On The Rocks” and “Cheese In The Trees” were prepared last year to celebrate the band’s return to Red Rocks and Hornings Hideout. Each collection runs about two hours, half of which is previously unreleased material. These collections were given to ticket-buyers through SCI Ticketing, and they’re available now, for the first time, as FLAC and CD purchases in addition to MP3 downloads.
